  • Go to bed earlier
  • Set an alarm clock at night
  • Put your alarm clock across the room
  • Commit to waking up early for 21 days
  • Become accountable with a friend who also wants to wake up earlier
  • Get perspective
  • Visualize yourself waking up early the next morning
  • Remind yourself what the benefits will be
  • Create a reward
  • Create a consequence
  • Take deep breaths before you go to bed
  • If all else fails, start slowly
